MicroDynamics LLC, a supplier of accurate cell volume measurement systems, has announced its Veritas roll inspection system has received the 2023 Technical Innovation Award from the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA). The annual award ceremony was held in Columbus, OH on Sunday, April 16, 2023, following day one of the FTA Forum 2023. Members from the MicroDynamics board of directors and engineering team were in attendance to accept the award Sunday night.

The Flexographic Technical Association is a charitable, educational, and scientific nonprofit organization driving awareness, training, and innovation in the flexographic printing industry. Their coveted Technical Innovation Award has recognized the most innovative and impactful technologies in flexography for over 25 years. MicroDynamics is honored to win the 2023 award in the pre-press category for their anilox inspection system, Veritas™.

Veritas is the newest anilox inspection microscope from MicroDynamics. The new technology builds on the company’s proven 3DQC Classic microscope and was engineered for ultimate accuracy and durability in printing and converting environments. Veritas has achieved  +/- 1% measurement repeatability, with data results populating in less than 8 seconds – faster than any other system today. Notable features of the innovation are the robust hardware and optics, the comprehensive MicroScan3 analysis software, and its ability to measure a variety of engravings and depths.
